T.i.m.e....

Time is going by much too fast these days. I am now 27 1/2 weeks and about to be 28 weeks pregnant. Wow! That means if he makes his arrival on time and not early or late, we have only 12 short weeks before we have a baby..
This idea excites me and scares me more than anything. I am so happy to have a baby... But I am more nervous than I ever thought possible. I'm afraid I won't be a good parent. I'm afraid I won't have all the answers all the time.
I have two wonderful parents and they seem to know what they are doing... I just know I don't know anything compared to my parents. I've heard that parenting is something you learn along the way. But what if you don't learn the right thing along the way? The idea of being completely responsible for another human being 24/7 terrifies me. I'm already worrying about him on a daily basis and I can't possibly imagine how much worse it will be when he is here.
Thinking of what short a time we have left, I realize how much I have left to get ready for a baby. I have a house I need to organize better and a nursery that still needs the finishing touches. But it is coming along more quickly than I could have imagined. All thanks to my wonderful, creative, and crafty mama and daddy.

Time is flying by... I know it's not going to slow down after baby Robert is here.. I just need to figure out a way to make it last longer. I want to start scrapbooking once baby Robert is here. I definitely need to take more pictures. I don't want to forget anything about the time he is an infant.
I am so excited we are having a baby, I'm pretty sure I can't say that enough :)
My parents are so crafty they were able to make a mobile after this model and I think it looks better than this picture. But I will have to share the one they made when I share the pics of our finished nursery. Just wanted to give you an idea :)

Coffee

I've been dreaming about coffee....
Just a nice hot cup of fully caffeinated coffee.

But I will wait... 14 more weeks!
Wow! 26 weeks pregnant! Everything seems to be going very well. The biggest problem I have right now is trying to drink enough water.. I must say it's much harder than it should be.
It's been so exciting to feel the baby move around alot more. It's super cool when I am relaxing to see my stomach actually move when he is moving around. His kicks and movements are getting ALOT more powerful.
I finally broke down and got a few maternity outfits... for work at least. It was getting to the point that my regular clothes just weren't cutting it. But, I feel so much better with clothes that have room for me to grow in!
I want to share a few things for the baby room in progress :)

My wonderful daddy built the crib by himself! And It's so amazing! I can't wait for the baby to sleep in it! The changing table was a wood color and my daddy painted it white for the baby! I love it and it looks perfect in the room!! I can't wait to bring baby boy home to enjoy his room!
I told myself I wouldn't buy any clothes for the baby until after my baby shower... But I must say that is much easier said than done.... So I want to share some of my favorite outfits I found :)

I am so excited to see baby Robert in these church outfits on Sunday! I know he's going to be so adorable in them!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

25 weeks

So I am now officially 25 weeks pregnant. WOW.
Everyday seems to be going by too fast. I am so excited that (hopefully) in just 15 weeks we will be able to bring home our little baby boy.

It also reminds me how unprepared I feel at this moment in time. I am so happy that we now have a crib in our nursery and that hopefully soon we will have the changing table as well. I am so excited about our beautiful crib. It is absolutely beautiful, and my Daddy built the bed by himself. It is amazing! I have the best daddy in the world, because not only did he build the crib, he is painting my changing table/dresser for us!

Last week Jordan and I were discussing some way to keep our house cooler without using our air conditioner so much... The solution I came up with... Make some curtains. On my day off last week I drove to Carrollton and bought some fabric. I met my mom at the library for her lunch and we took the fabric home and she made my curtains on her lunch break!! Yes, I do have very talented and VERY amazing parents! I am so lucky. Now we have curtains in our kitchen and dining room that keeps the house dark and cool all day!

I can't wait till we get to bring our baby home, and hopefully by then it will be alot cooler outside! It has been difficult to try and keep from being dehydrated in this heat... I am dreading the next few weeks as it gets hotter and the baby gets even bigger. It has been hard enough to sleep now! But I know once he is here in my arms it will ALL be worth it!
